You will provide support and maintenance International Paper’s IP Telephony systems which are used by all employees across all businesses (and various customers/partners), worldwide. Under direct supervision, you will proactively monitor system to provide stable, dependable services. You will configure IP Telephony phones and voice mail for end users and resolve user issues with telephone configuration and user training/consulting.

In this position you will be responsible for Cisco IP telephony support globally. We offer opportunities to learn and grow within a friendly and supporting team of talented individuals.
You will
- Properly manage, administrate and maintain all IP Telephony technologies and services.
- Cisco Call Manager device configuration and user support
- Cisco Unity Connection voice mail configuration and user support
- User problem resolution, consulting and ad-hoc training
- Establish and maintain applicable facility, campus and/or Enterprise Service Levels (SLAs).
- Support end-user access tools for Call Manager and Voice Mail (ccmuser, pca).
- Maintain spares inventory of phones, headsets and conference phones.
- Use service management tools such as
- SDM problem management for issue tracking and documentation
- Clarus reporting for service management
Activities: Engineering, configuration, support and deployment of IP Telephony systems.
Services: VoIP Phones, Voicemail, FAX, Modems and SIP Trunking.
Scope and impact of this position on the business includes
- Management of >10,000 phone endpoints
- Support of >4 Call Manager Clusters

- Providing strategic direction for the application of IP Telephony technologies to support all IP businesses
You have
- A Bachelors Degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of Voice Systems technologies and operational experience
- 2+ years of IP Telephony technologies, services and operational experience using Cisco IP Telephony systems.
- 2+ years experience with Information Technology operations within International Paper - preferred
- Cisco CCNA/CCNP Voice certification - a plus
- A comprehensive understanding and practical application experience of the following technologies and services:
- Voice Systems (IPT), Voicemail, Call Recording
- Demonstrated excellence in written and verbal communication skills at Technical and Management levels.
- Fluency in English - a must. Knowledge of additional language (French, Italian, Polish, Spanish, Turkish, Russian) would be an asset
- Some travel and flexible hours required
- Ability to support systems 7x24 including after-hours response and on-call
- Ability to lift up to 23 kg.
