Oracle Database Administrator

Responsibilities:
- Administration of Oracle RDBMS;
- Ensuring high availability of the database and fast recovery in case of failure;
- Search for the causes of problems in the area of responsibility and their elimination;
- Optimization of the performance of Oracle RDBMS and SQL-queries;
- Preparing environments for development and testing tasks;
- Consulting developers on the functioning of the RDBMS;
- Technical control of the functionality of information systems;
- Analysis of incidents related to the database in the monitoring system;
- Management of backup and recovery of Oracle databases;
- Set standards for database-environment, create documentation and procedures, initiate testing of procedures;
- Design and document database architectures;
- Study and application of new capabilities and technologies of Oracle RDBMS.
Role description:
This role is to provide technical support for database environments and supports the full system life cycle. The person in this position performs Database Administration for a variety of operational and support databases.
Requirements:
- At least five years of experience in Oracle DBA role;
- Bachelor’s degree or similar in IT
- Knowledge and understanding of the architecture of the Oracle RDBMS, multitenant (CDB / PDB), SQL, PL / SQL;
- Knowledge of Oracle utilities expdp/impdp, RMAN, etc.;
- Knowledge of Oracle ASM and RAC architecture, Data Guard;
- Ability to write bash/shell scripts;
- Experience in optimizing the performance of Oracle RDBMS and SQL queries;
- Knowledge of Unix/Linux OS in the amount necessary for administration, both OS and DBMS and diagnostics of the sufficiency of all necessary resources;
- Knowledge of ORDS will be an advantage;
- Fluent in written and spoken English and Polish, Russian is a huge advantage
- Communication skills;
