What will you do?
You will be part of a team responsible for designing modern data solutions in the hybrid environment of traditional and modern data technologies. Your tasks will include:
- Building as well as implementing architecture roadmaps for next generation Data Warehouse / DB / Big Data solutions for our clients
- Assessing and defining tactical and strategic opportunities to enable our clients to achieve new business capabilities using Big Data and traditional tools and technologies
- Participation in full lifecycle implementation from requirements analysis, platform selection, technical architecture design, application design and development till testing, and deployment
- Involvement in matters related to information management, use and further development of information management methods
What we expect from you?
- Experience in positioning and selling DB solutions (preferred, but not limited to Oracle Exadata)
- Optional experience in designing, building and operationalizing production-grade Big Data solutions using modern data technologies such as Hadoop or NoSQL databases
- Optional experience with open source eco-system components such as Apache Spark, Apache Flume, Apache Oozie, Apache Hive, Apache Flink, Apache HBase, Apache Cassandra, Apache Kafka
- Understanding of traditional ETL tools, RDBMS, SQL
- Understanding of metadata management with Hadoop and NoSQL data in a hybrid environment
- Excellent command of Polish and English
