Oracle Database Engineer / Expert
Miejsce pracy: Warszawa
Currently, I am looking for an Oracle Database Engineer/Expert.
Salary: max. 960 pln net+vat/day
Location: Warsaw
Responsibilities:
- Installation, operation and maintenance of and improvement of databases, database management systems and platforms.
- Interacting with the IT-Supporters and/or the Infrastructure Specialist, Network Specialist, Operation Specialist and Developers to optimize operation stability and platform performance.
- Designing and implementing in cooperation with IT Architects database structure and plans for upgrades.
- Acting as 3rd level support in all matters related to databases and interfaces with external vendors in case of incidents and escalations.
- Acting at global level and takes a cross border responsibility in operation, implementation and incident handling
- Running and facilitating various 24x7 on call support cases and war rooms for effective issue resolution and incident management
- Actively managing and performing Root Cause Analysis and reviews to prevent Incidents (Major) from re-occurring
- Analysing and optimizing database performance to optimise infrastructure utilisation
- Providing operational and development support services for the Core Banking ORACLE DB environments
- Advising on Architecture, facilitate Design and implement effective database solutions and models to store and retrieve company & customer data on the Core Banking Platform
- Examining and identifying database structural necessities by evaluating client operations, applications, and programming
Requirements:
- Associate/Diploma Degree
- A very good command of spoken and written English
- DBA skills
- Knowledge of Solaris/Linux
