Project Description:
About the Project:
As a Database Engineering program in Financial line of business, we are responsible for maintaining up-to-date versions of DB technologies used (Oracle, PostgreSQL, Sybase). In close cooperation with DB as a Service and Infrastructure project, designing and providing solutions and packages for Operations Team.
Our team: A team of 3 senior DB engineers located in Wroclaw, also communicating with stakeholders across the globe (London, Germany, Switzerland, USA, India), both technical and managerial stuff.
Technologies used: Oracle, PostreSQL, Sybase, bash, UNIX, bash-scripting
Responsibilities
- Design and prepare Oracle DB solutions
- Coordinate DB packaging delivery process,
- Take part in vulnerability assessment calls as a DB Engineering SME,
- Lead the team effort towards meeting goals by thorough analysis of requirements, scope and agreements with Operations Teams.
Skills
Linux/Unix shell-scripting, Oracle DB product stack (RDBMS, GI, RAC, GG, DataGuard etc.)
