Responsibilites
Key Responsibilities
- Work on the DB tasks assigned.
- Resolve any DB related issues, work on query performances.
- Set up the infrastructure and co-ordinate with team members.
- Set up DB codes, update codes in SVN.
- Participate in Daily Scrum meetings.
- Participate in release management for quarterly releases.
- Work on SQL and PL/SQL packages
Requirements
Essentials Skills and Qualifications:
- Oracle SQL and PL/SQL
- Understanding DB structures.
- Performance tuning of queries in Oracle 11g.
- Data load using PL/SQL
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Code management using SVN, JIRA.
- Knowledge of Job Scheduling software.
- Very good data analysis and problem solving skills.
- Be a team player and willing to co-ordinate with team members in different time zones.
- Understanding the business requirements.
- Any ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) knowledge will be a plus.
- Knowledge of tools like Business Objects, OBIEE will be a plus.
- Familiarity with Front End applications will be helpful in communicating with UI development teams.
We offer
Main business users are from Market risk and Finance department. Market Risk Application is used to track the progress of monthly Regulatory submissions. This helps the Market Risk Dept to keep their activities on track, track any blockers and issues.
In finance department, we are developing similar application which tracks issues with PnL, attribution etc. This helps the business users to track all the issues.
