Position purpose
For our office in Katowice, due to dynamic development of our team, we are looking for an ambitious, accountable and open-minded person with hands-on approach, open to new knowledge and challenging goals. The scope of activities is new, very interesting and challenging, includes operations and processes from Ordering to Shipment tracking and delivery of product to end customer. The main purpose of the role is to ensure excellent Client service within Logistics and Order Management area.
Main accountabilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for processing transactions and producing outputs in the following areas:
- Creation, modification, cancellation and validation of order forms sent by Customer Team and successfully handling the orders in SAP
- Cooperation with Buyers to create the purchase orders and follow up on the material availability
- Keeping the Customer Team informed on the material status
- Ordering inquiries
- Creation and maintenance of delivery and shipment documents
- Doing sales recognition in SAP by sending and dispatching shipment and invoice
- Identification of exceptions and providing resolution to issues
- Working on tickets assigned through the workflow tool
- Active communication with market, Vendors and Customer Team, Buyers, Logistics Service Providers contacts to identify and correct issues
- Supporting Order and Logistics Analyst in more complex issues
Candidate’s profile
- Experience in Supply Chain, Procurement or Logistics area (at least 1 year)
- Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Commercial Apprenticeship or equivalent working experience will be an asset
- Good knowledge of English – B2 level and very good communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of SAP system would be an asset
- Good organizational skills of daily & project (if relevant) work
- Creative thinking to implement best practices and find solutions to complex issues with due diligence
- Lean thinking / process orientation
- Team player
