Order Delivery Manager

Main purpose of the position is to manage and drive the Supply Planning team responsible for EA  to ensure supply alignment to achieve customer expectations (Customer Required Ship Date) and Backlog goals are met .Responsibilities will include:
• Leadership and performance management of the EA Supply Planning team, developing skills and abilities within the team whilst ensuring the necessary tools, processes and training are available to enable an efficient execution of current and future activities
• Build strong relationships with the business team members and stay in constant communication around the supply situation with all. Daily coordination and contact to purchasing teams, Order Management, Distribution Center Operations and Transportation
• Drive Supply from both internal and external suppliers. Always be in a position to understand and explain any gaps of supply to demand. Drive actions to close gaps in order to make customer requirements.
• Ensure On time delivery and backlog management  goals are met; delinquent backlog goal and cycle time measurements and that gaps  to performance are understood.
• Prioritize workload amongst the team whilst providing help and assistance with managing the supply challenges whilst ensuring the resourcing needs of the team are in place to support the business.
• Work closely with OM Schedulers  and DC operations to ensure visibility of material,  support  order release optimization  to the Shop floor in the
• Distribution Center to meet quarter end revenue objectives as well as  critical order needs
• Develop metrics and KPIs
• Provide metrics and reports to Management as required

• Minimum 8 - 10 years of work experiences in relevant field Preferably background in materials or materials planning or purchasing
• Managerial / team lead experience
• Strong project management skills
• Thriving on driving change
• Business fluent English - Verbal and Written  
• Dynamic, creative with excellent communication skills,  comfortable dealing with senior management
• Self motivated and able to work under pressure
• Strong personality and drive to foster team spirit and teamwork
• High rate of sensitivity of the mentality, business culture and practices in a multicultural environment
• University degree
• Strong Knowledge on MS Excel  
• Knowledge of Oracle systems will be an advantage
• Ability to operate in matrix, multinational company
• Willingness to travel approx.10 - 15%
