Summary
Perform a variety of accounting activities in accordance with accounting principles and standards to control the organization's financial resources and ensure that it complies with all relevant regulations, laws, and reporting requirements.
Responsibilities
- Monthly accounts reconciliation review and approval
- Month End Closing process
- Quarterly Group reporting
- Managing system access for the team and being the first point of contact in case of IT issues
- Establishing cash collection process
- Ad hoc reporting
- Managing the team of 6 FTEs
- Planning the workload and back up structure between team members
- Regular team meetings and one to one meetings with team members
- Establishing quarterly goals and evaluating the performance
- Coordinating the vacation planning for the team
- Building a strong team with a strong accent on cooperation
You have
- Team Leading experience, Performance
- Management & Reporting at least 3 years of experience
- University degree in Finance / Accounting must have
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written English (min.C1)
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written German (min.B2/C1)
- End to end knowledge of OTC process
- Experience in Cash Application and knowledge of various payment methods
- Good knowledge of reconciliation / Accrual activities
- Knowledge of Collections process is preferred
- Good working knowledge in MS office especially MS excel
