About our client
Our client is an international organization with a leading position in their segment. With great heritage and an exciting product range, this company is growing rapidly in Europe. To manage this unprecedented expansion and enable the rapid increase of the production capacity necessary to meet the customers needs, the decision has been taken to recruit a Plant Manager to lead and develop the Polish production site (400 employees, 3 shifts, 5 direct reports) in the Warsaw region. This challenging role is a unique opportunity to join a very successful group and to contribute directly to their rapid growth.
Job description
- Lead the site in achieving a rapid expansion both from an organizational point of view (staffing) and from a production capacity point of view (new investments)
- Provide an effective management of all operational issues to ensure first class customer service
- Be the face to a demanding international client base on quality and service issues
- Improve the operational efficiency with constant attention on lead times, cost and waste: SOP management, inventories management, preventive maintenance
- Train consistently the staff to ensure continuity and succession planning
- Focus on maintaining the highest standards of product quality and Health & Safety
Who we are looking for
- An experienced production manager with a successful record track in a complex fast production environment
- A customer oriented professional able to challenge existing processes whilst striving for excellence through continuous improvement and flexibility
- A leader able to build relationships and to get others on board to help implement plans
- A well-organized, self-motivated and self-managed entrepreneur
- Strong communication skills
- Fluency in English is a must
