This position will be responsible for applying Software engineering methods for developing various solutions and products operating on Unix and Windows platforms.
The responsibilities include: development of low level requirements, implementing functionality based on requirements, writing user manuals, unit testing, functional testing (manual and auto) and participating in system integration testing.
Project uses Agile methodologies
• Masters Degree in IT/Telecommunication field or similar
• Practical knowledge of Linux (Red Hat) (server and workstation) from user and administrator perspectives
• Strong programming skills in at least one of the following scripting languages: Shell, Perl, Python
• Must be a great team player
• Must be a very good troubleshooter with an analytic approach to given tasks and problems
• Must be highly motivated, accurate and precise person
• Must have an ability to learn new skills quickly and to switch tasks and/or used technologies
• Have to be self-driven and creative
• Must have common sense and be able to speak freely
• Must show attention to details
• Must be able to collaborate with onsite and offsite teams
• Fluent English
Familiarity with some of the following will be a big plus:
• Programming languages: C/C++, Java, C#, PHP
• Networking protocols and network services
• Security aspects in Windows systems
• Active Directory
• virtualization (based on VMware vSphere / ESXi)
• WIX/InstallShield
