Responsibilites

Experience of setting up and/or managing a PMO team

Leading a team of PMO analysts in Wroclaw who provides support to program and project managers in the IT departments.

Excellent written & verbal communication, and listening skills

Planning; able to schedule activities in resources both at short notice and in advanced.

Highly organised; able to juggle competing priorities and multiple streams of work at any one time.

Able to take a strategic view across the change portfolio but also understand the right level of detail in individual projects.

Time management and delegation; uses available resources to maximise output and delivery.

Problem solving; works with others to fix issues early and effectively. Approaches with both an analytical and innovative mind.

Negotiation skills; both with internal stakeholders and external suppliers

Constructively assertive; can challenge in the right way at the right level

Requirements

Project Management Office tasks including creating and maintaining accurate program/project plans, status reports and financial forecasts

  • Business case administration support
  • Executive status summary and pack preparation
  • Project, Program and Portfolio project admin tasks and deliverables
  • Milestone and KPI tracking and reporting
  • Tracking of the contractual lifecycle events (e.g. contract creation, sign-off, changes, closure, etc.)
We offer

As the Project Manager, your role will be to create our Project Management Office and own the management of the entire change and project portfolio.

You will establish the PMO disciplines and governance structure to create a best in class offering to GT COO. This will include defining the resource and prioritization process, developing a robust and consistent approach for the identification of projects, continually review and promote best practice and implementing post-implementation reviews.

Effective stakeholder management is a priority in this role. Your key interfaces will include GT COO steering groups, senior leaders and the IT and Operations leadership team. You will rely on your excellent communication and influencing skills to translate business strategy into major change initiatives and engage senior leaders along the way.

You will also be an inspiring leader, and will set clear objectives and personal development plans with your team. You are a known change leader, and will successfully unify your team as you perfect the PMO model.
