Responsibilites
- End to end financial management and ownership of a resource pool, supporting resource pool heads on cost control
- Assisting pool head to understand cost structure, drivers and variables
- Budgetary management, including defining required budgets, tracking and adjusting where necessary
- Forecasting of all costs, e.g. manpower, outsourcing, professional services, software, hardware, depreciation
- Ensuring actual costs are reported accurately, and process accounting corrections where required
- Invoice review, tracking and coding
- Reconciliation of various financial systems to ensure accuracy of costs
- Administration of time reporting systems, and ensuring compliance of pool resources
- Managing approval paperwork for all spend e.g. resources, software, licenses, professional services
- On-boarding of new pool resources to client
- Assisting where possible on financial process improvement
- Assisting on cost code structure to allow cost transparency
- Assisting with contract management
- Building relationships with vendor managers to ensure smooth contract management, on-boarding and billings
- This role will involve some administrative tasks

Requirements
- MS Office, MS Excel skills essential
- Financial background / education - understanding basic accounting terms e.g. depreciation and accruals
- Excellent attention to detail and an inquisitive mind
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Ability to work to regular and sometimes challenging deadlines, and be able to prioritize deliverables
- Ability to work in a matrix organization
