A Project Management Officer supports individual project managers and the overall program manager in the management of the project or programs. They have responsibility for:
- Providing support for financials tracking (budget and actuals),
- Change request management, tracking of project effort, milestone tracking, tracking of risks, issues and dependencies
- Supporting stakeholder and business client management (status reporting) interactions as well as general logistical, process, toolset and administrative support for the IT Project and Program Manager
Resource Management
- Monitor hours booking and make sure resource situation is consistent with an internal provided Excel sheet which is the master for all resource/budget
planning
- Booking manager role
- Resource modelling: model different scenarios maintain and produce reports using a provided Excel model
Management support
*Support line managers and project managers in planning and budgeting and
reporting. Update high level project Roadmap.
Communication Management
*Collection of required PSRs input, consolidation, final reports preparation
Financial management
*Project Cost Plans maintenance in accordance with PM instructions and
best practices & guidelines,
- Actuals controlling
- Oral communication skills including ability to actively listen
- Good interpersonal relationship skills
- Good with numbers and calculations, to be able to track project figures and budget progress
- Organized and able to keep track of activities across teams
- Happy with challenge/changing environment
- Problem solving ability and resilience
- Good knowledge and experience of Excel and Powerpoint
- Experience in IT and PMO in IT area (know what is Agila, JIRA, and things like that)
