We're looking for an enthusiastic and energetic individual in the role of QA Automation lead, who will have strong software testing skills, have a good understanding of the business processes and will also have basic hands-on development experience. On top of that this person should have experience in working in Agile environment.
Successful candidate should be able to:
- manage QA process though the entire lifecycle of tasks/issues
- analyze and understand complex business logic
- manage QA process
- analyze new business requirements and work with the development team on their post implementation testing and sign-off process in as much white-box and automated way as possible
- produce repeatable (automated) tests with some input from developers
- actively participate and contribute to improving, simplifying and automating our current release process
- occasional development of VBA macros for the business data processing and integration with the Bloomberg terminal
- provide help with understanding of the complex application behavior to Project production support team
- Working experience in the automation QA role (at least 6 years)
- The desire to communicate with other people, find compromises
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Understanding of business processes
- Hands-on basic experience in Java, Linux, shell scripting, SQL, Excel/VBA
- JIRA-oriented development process
Desirable:
- knowledge of FIX protocol, Tibco, socket comms/RPC, SVN/Git

Despite the fact that the system has been around for quite some time now, it's one of the key apps to our business and is being actively improved, extended and supported by the dedicated people in London & Krakow. Technological stack: Sybase database, java middleware/Linux, .Net/C# gui and MS Excel automation in VBA.
