Scope of Responsibilities/Expectations:
Driving Projects and Process Improvements:-Partner with Procurement Category, Region, and Country Managers on cost reduction and process improvement projects-Partner with Business and Functional teams on cost reduction and process improvement projects-Execute prioritized process redesigns by developing strategy, identifying key work partners, conducting meetings, publishing meeting minutes, and driving action item completion.-Research, gain understanding, and then document as-is procedures-Develop strategies for implementing operational efficiencies by reviewing work flows, procedures, and performance-Initiate problem identification, solution and follow through to resolution-Perform root-case analysis of problems to formulate and recommend improved alternative operationsData Management, Business Analytics, and Compliance:-Collect and validate data monthly from various sources-Ensure reporting systems have clean data inputs using established tools and processes-Reach out to managers, employees, and non-employees obtaining information to correct data issues-Manage data integrity projects-Support contract labor/non-employee data collection, reporting, and analysis-Analyze financial data to drive business decisions-Perform Preferred Purchasing Methods analytics and propose strategiesCommunications Management:-Manage communication project messaging, distribution, and record-keeping using established tools and processes-Monitor shared email accounts and reply with standard responses to commonly asked questions or redirect inquiries
Specific Knowledge/Skills:
-Ability to work in a global organization including experience in cross-cultural teaming-Strong team member able to build and maintain positive, effective, and mutually beneficial working relationships -Conscientious to deliver quality work and meet deadlines-Highly structured and organized while being adaptable to frequent change-Ability to receive minimal guidance followed by personal initiative to move projects forward while being willing to ask clarifying questions and escalate issues promptly-Process improvement concepts such as root-case analysis, idea generation, creative problem solving, and solution selection and implementation -Proficient with spreadsheets and detailed data analysis-Professional verbal and written English language competence-General Procure to Pay Process Knowledge-Digital Six Sigma training/certification a plus-Finance/AP understanding/experience a plus-Procure to Pay Greenfield applications understanding/experience a plus
