Position purpose:
Project Analyst is responsible for coordinating project performance with the Project Manager / Program Manager and for the timely and economic utilization of resources assigned to the project. The position provides technical coordination of project teams; project schedule as well as cost and finance provision; gathering and analyzing the data by establishing and maintaining policies, processes and procedures. Managing reports like forecast; budget status; weekly/monthly and other management related reports.
Main accountabilities:
- Manages project plans for the projects and contributes to the overall plan
- Manages single or multiple teams, shared or direct
- Plan, monitor and control assigned budgets and targets provided by the project manager
- Manages Implementation to ensure successful progress to project closure
- Understands client’s requirements
- Establishing and maintaining good working relationships with Project managers, Client managers and liaise with other development and support areas to facilitate successful end to end delivery
- Collaborates closely with the Project team; develop and motivate staff
- Assure the quality of work produced in development, ensuring that business practices and technical standards are adhered to and quality products delivered to specified standards
- Monitoring project progress, regularly report on progress, identify and action potential stoppers and issues
- Develops communication Plan for the Project
- Co-ordination across business units affecting the project
