PROJECT LEADER
This is an exciting opportunity to join a progressive organisation and be responsible for assisting the Project Manager with organising and leading projects. You will also be responsible for communication and relationship with management, stakeholders and project members. You will bear primary responsibility for the management of project within the matrix reporting structure, risk and issues identification and mitigation.
The role requires candidates with previous experience and participation in projects as a project leader or a key member.
You should have :
- Understanding of the project life cycle
- Understanding of Lean and other process improvements concepts
- Knowledge of PRINCE2 or PMI methodology standards will be an advantage
- Ability to build relationships by communicating, influencing and negotiating effectively with staff at all levels
- Proven ability to work towards tight deadlines
- Self-driven personality and pro-activeness
To be considered for this position you will need to have ability to effectively manage relationships, both within the company and externally. You should have excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills combined with ability to develop business relationships with various levels of management within and outside of the company.
