Project Manager - Direct responsibility for all aspects of the eInventory / Server LCM projects within the confines of desired delivery method.
The project is one of 4 projects under the SLAE (Server LCM Adoption & Enablement) Programme, which has been delivering a reduction in EOL components in Bank. The Project will continue to enhance the eInventory tool which is used for planning the EOL components across all Lines of Business.
The Project is currently in the Execute Monitor and Control (EMC) stage, fully mobilized and performing.
Essentials Skills and Qualifications:
- Experienced (10-15 years) / Qualified Programme Manager
- Proven Desktop / Windows 10 implementation experience of enterprise scale
- Excellent Communicator (English) Written and oral
- Excellent Stakeholder Manager and comfortable engaging at all levels
- Decision maker
- Team player
- Delivery focused and comfortable with change
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Degree level qualification or equivalent experience
- Programme and Project Management Certified with at least 10-15 years' experience
- Experience of leading teams and driving change
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with all levels up to MD
- Able to work in a department that is going to go through significant change, as we look to implement a new Target Operate Model (TOM), significant change in management, leadership and functionality is expected and candidate needs to be comfortable operating in a changing environment
- General enterprise infrastructure knowledge
- Investment Banking experience advantageous
- Ability to get on with people, team player and team builder
- Self-starter but wise enough to ask when necessary
- Global operator with the flexibility to accommodate multi time zone delivery
The Global Chief Technology Office (GCTO) Change Portfolio is a ~150mCHF (2017) portfolio of works that drives Programme and Project execution across infrastructure in Bank servicing all areas. The Portfolio contains Programmes and Projects of various size, complexity and duration.
GCTO Change is looking for an experienced Project Manager Director to join its Poland (Warsaw) based project team and drive Project execution in line with best practice and company standards.
The GCTO Portfolio has In flight Programmes include WIFI Transformation, Cloud Implementation, Cyber Threat Detection and numerous access type projects, various mobile technology investments, Service Management introduction and enhancements to our Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) to name but a few.
GCTO Change is responsible for the Portfolio Management, the provision of Project Management Office (PMO) support, including a Quality Management function and Programme and Project Management (PM) expertise to implement the portfolio in a hub and spoke resource model.
The GCTO Change team is truly global with team members in Switzerland, Singapore, USA, Poland and London.
For this position the Project allocated is likely to be eInventory/Server LCM Projects, which collectively look to reduce End of Life (EOL) components from the Bank technical real estate.
This is a Project Management role based in our new Warsaw office and will report into the Head of GCTO Prorgammes Warsaw.
The position is challenging but operating in a fully supported team with first rate management support and guidance where needed.
