Project Description:
Driven by regulatory demand, our client, a top tier investment bank has to establish Global Operational Continuity in Resolution (OCIR) framework across the existing fragmented local solutions, harmonizing taxonomy, processes and procedures and increasing transparency on dependencies and risks in order to ensure and support going concern during resolution or stress situation.
Objective of our project is to provide a global analytics and MI solution using approved data sources, standardize and improve data quality. This global solution has to allow flexible configuration of regulatory rules to enable decommissioning of local fragmented solutions as well as flexible data models, business rules, documentation standards to ensure that capabilities and solutions are scalable, transparent and facilitate:
- Restructuring - timely execution of a bank’s recovery and resolution plan
- Reacting to ad-hoc regulatory requests or rules changes
- Adaptation to a long-term roadmap
Responsibilities
End-to-end delivery of assigned projects:
- Planning, estimation and budget management
- Ensuring effective project governance and regular reporting
- Coordination of back-office operations (contracting, billing, invoicing, training and others)
- Hiring and people management
- Continuous delivery processes improvement
- Participation in sales and business development activities
Day-to-day projects management:
- Scrum master coaching activities to improve team performance
- Facilitating and documenting all project meetings
- Administration of the project's Jira and Confluence sites
- Facilitation of backlog refinement sessions with product owner
- Constantly monitoring and reporting delivery KPIs (velocity, lead times, accuracy of estimates, quality metrics, etc.)
- Ensuring achievement of definition of done and project milestones
Skills
- 5+ years of software project management experience
- Experience in banking, preferably in compliance and regulatory reporting space
- Knowledge of different flavors of Agile methodology and ability to chose and adapt proper techniques suitable for project environment
- Knowledge and practical experience with IT management methodologies SDLC, CMMI, ITIL, COBIT, ISO 27001, etc.
- Good understanding of information security principles and concepts, including business continuity
- Ability to understand software architecture and influence design solutions to achieve project goals
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience working in distributed and international environments
