Job Description:
- People management, leading a team of both junior and experienced Accounts Payable Accountants
- Applying a pro-active business approach aimed to resolving business/people issues
- Driving improvements agenda through showing leadership and implementing project management approach
- Preparing periodical reports, reconciliations and dashboards for internal use as well as for the Client
- Customer service: dealing with e-mail and phone queries, maintaining a regular relationship with suppliers and client; client facing role
- Assissting team and providing guidance to the team for: booking invoices in a timely manner and in accordance with defined processes and client's requirements, as well agreed exceptions, reversing invoices for incorrect hosting, blocking and releasing invoices for payment on business request and monitoring the payables, reconciling the balances with external and intercompany suppliers
- Supporting internal/external audits
- Fluent English language
- Advanced level of German language will be considered and additional asset
- Proven team leadership experience and coaching for excellence
- At least 3 years experience in Accounts Payable and 1 year experience in a leadership role
- Interest in Finance & Accounting not limited to own scope of work but also to all other processes outsourced
- Educational background in finance, accounting or economy is an advantage
- Pro-active business approach
- Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Outlook)
- Flexibility, especially in the period of month/year - end closing
- High accuracy and focus on details
- Ability to work analytically in a problem-solving environment
- Very good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking and time-management skills
- Availability for international travel during the first months of work (3 months training abroad)
