Purchasing Specialist
Place of work: Gdańsk
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Cooperation with suppliers and contractors in the field of engineering products, in particular the supply of R&D laboratory and production equipment and devices, chemical regents, etc.,
- Preparing requests for proposals based on the specifications and sending them to potential suppliers,
- Creating orders and verification of orders paying special attention to compliance of contract/agreement with the submitted purchasing demand,
- Timely implementation of purchasing processes,
- Conducting purchasing processes in accordance with the procedures and legal provisions,
- Preparing and updating of contracts with suppliers,
- Managing supliers data base,
- Providing high level of internal and external customer service.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Higher education (preferred specialization in the fields: biology, biotechnology or chemistry),
- At least 1 year of professional experience in similar position,
- Very good knowledge of MS Office (particularly Excel),
- Very good knowledge of spoken and written Polish and English,
- Good analytical skills,
- Experience in trade negotiations,
- Communication skills and ability to cooperate with others,
- Very good organization of work and time.
