Information and Document Systems is a global technology change and delivery organization comprising nearly 200 individuals located mostly in Switzerland, Poland and Singapore. Providing global capturing and document processing, archiving and retrieval solutions to all business divisions focusing on supporting Legal, Regulatory and Operational functions. At the moment developing strategic greenfield project NGA aka. Next Generation Archiving to build large-scale digital archive for documents and records, that will gradually replace all existing archiving solutions in the bank, and to build an operational document store, that should become a single point of truth for document workflows. The whole system must scale linearly, be fault-tolerant, and handle petabytes of data.
Technologies used in NGA:
- 100% Scala/Java using Functional Programming (FP),
- Event Driven Architecture with Kafka as event store and Kafka Streams for event streaming,
- Reactive streams for streaming data over HTTP: Akka HTTP/Streams,
- Non-blocking concurrency: Akka, Monix,
- FP abstractions: Cats,
- Developed by several teams using Scrum
We are looking for a qualified QA Automation to join our team. The opportunity is for a hands-on QA Automation engineer working with agile teams developing green-field distributed Scala/Java projects. You will be responsible for implementing visual elements that users see and interact within a web application, which makes your role crucial for the success of our business.
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or related technical field.
- 3+ years in software testing in all types of quality assurance: smoke, regression, integration testing.
- Java
- Comprehensive knowledge and experience with QA best practices and methodologies
- Understanding of software development lifecycle
- Experience in an agile development environment. Scrum experience is an asset
- Skills in Java programming or good experience with Java-based testing technologies: e.g. WebDriver or Junit
- Selenium WebDriver (Page Object pattern, selectors, waits, timeouts, FindElement, FindElements, some minimal knowledge of JavaScript in order to use it together with WebDriver)
- SpecFlow, SpecFlow+, NUnit (step definitions/bindings, binding scope, scenario and feature setups/cleanups, Scenario/Feature contexts, context injection, hooks and tags)
- SQL (queries, stored procedures, views)
- Git as SVCS
- TeamCity as CI tool
- Jira as a Scrum board and test management system
- Advanced English is a must
