We are looking for an experienced software quality engineer eager to learn and apply creative approaches to testing. As a key member of the Quality Assurance team, you will be work closely with developers to design and execute creative tests to exercise the components of the Runtime product. You will be working as part of a highly motivated team in a fast paced, startup-like environment. Development and testing are done using agile methodologies and techniques. You will develop test plans and test cases, automated tests, analyze and debug the results of your tests, and work with developers to verify fixes forr issues you have found.
- 5+ years of QA experience
- Experience in deploying and testing of web applications on at least one of the following application servers (JBoss, Tomcat, WebLogic, WebSphere or IIS)
- Expert level knowledge of software testing, automation tests
- Experience testing REST/JSON APIs, HTML5 UIs
- Experience testing on diverse hardware, client/server, and/or Web-based applications
- Experience using virtual environments for testing
- Excellent analytic and problem solving skills and a quick learner
- Strong oral and written English communication skills
