QA Engineer

Responsibilites
- QA for trading applications: development and execution of Front to Back tests;
- All types of quality assurance: smoke, system, functional, regression, integration testing;
- Ensuring and taking responsibility of product delivery & releases quality;
- Providing full life-cycle capability for projects accountable for - including interacting with traders, collaborating with developers and QA, training and providing point of escalation for app support staff;
- Communicate with distributed teams (APAC, EMEA and US) on daily basis depending on release activities involvement.
Requirements
- Manual testing experience on large distributed systems (at least 3 year). Including rich client (not pure web based applications) and non UI testing, e.g. feeds, processes etc. (not less than 1 year);
- General knowledge of Unix based systems;
- General knowledge SQL (queries, table joins, group by etc);
- General knowledge of XML;
- English level: Upped Intermediate or higher;
- Well-Motivated and eager in achieving new Financial/Technical knowledge and make the contribution to the project;
- Ability to travel.
Desirable:
- Good knowledge of testing standards (ISTQB certification is a plus);
- Good experience in requirements gathering and clarification on both technical and business (domain) levels;
- Good experience in test design;
- Quality Centre user experience (is a plus);
- Financial experience/business knowledge (is a plus).

QA are involved and participating in functional, Front to Back (End to End), Performance and User Acceptance testing activities. Application coverage and Technologies are presented (but not limited) by Client applications (both Web and Desktop); Set of Electronic Markets trading applications; Mid Office systems; Back Office systems.
