- Cooperate with QA Manager in elaboration, introduction and facilitation of new processes and practices in context of various delivery streams
- Client facing activities
- Help in local team coordination activities
- Help with reporting on different level, suited to audience, frequency and purpose.

- Help to develop software quality test plans and test cases and lead in setting and maintaining the standards for Software Quality Assurance test documentation

- Participate in developing and maintaining good working relationships with peers in product development, project management and client services
Mandatory:
- Proven QA experience especially with remote teams in highly distributed environment
- QTP/WebDriver or any other widely used automation tool
- English - advanced (fluent verbal communications with English speaking customers)
- Good knowledge of various delivery models and understanding of their benefits and
applicability
- Perfect communication skills
- Good knowledge of testing standards (like ISTQB)
- Experience in financial services (FI, EQ, OTC, reference data)
Nice to have:
- Java knowledge would be an asset
Distributed Information system of the client intended to maintain operations for one of the finacial instrument trading on global markets, internal & external orders management, risk and P&L calculation.
In specific that includes middle-office lifecycle management in charge of processing the input from various upstream and dispatch them downstream. The main functionalities are:
- Automated management for the trades and manual events with support for about 100 types of products. It is also handling jobs for periodical events, like Market Open / Close, daily ESM refreshes, periodic reports, like German Mass Issuance, Coupon Payment, etc.
- Order management system - handling trade orders from different client facing components and various flows. Dealing with set of derivatives like options, swaps or complex structured products.
Teams are spread across few locations like London, Krakow, Bucharest, and Jersey City. Having agile approach and well defined Software Development Life Cycle we are running cross functional feature teams that are able to deliver whole business features no matter the stack involved.
From technology perspective projects are heavily test driven J2EE applications running distributed. Technologies used are also varying a lot: Selenium WebDriver, Confluence, Jira, TeamCity, J2EE, Clojure, Hibernate, Spring, Struts, ElasticSearch, FreeMarker, Angular.JS, Oracle DB, etc.
