Key Responsibilities
- Work as a part of QA team, conducting manual and automate tests for Regression Test Set that covers functional requirements to the application
- Automate test suites and integration with CI
- Perform initial analysis of failed tests
- Communicate the results of tests and analysis back to the team
- Capture and report any defects throughout test execution
Challenges Contractor will be facing in this role:
- As the automation framework is in "development" phase at the moment, there might be a requirement to build some part of automation from the scratch.
- Working with partial assignment to Agile team (day-by-day work with dev teams) and partial to Waterfall testing (against Releases)
The Strategic EPE Programme (S-EPE) has been established to provide a consistent valuation methodology for calculating counterparty credit exposure, for use in both regulatory capital calculations and the management of xVA.
S-EPE's objective is to roll out Monte Carlo EPE models that align the counterparty credit risk exposure calculations used for risk management, accounting, limit monitoring and regulatory capital.
The project team is located mainly in two locations - Wroclaw and London and includes almost 50 people with following roles - Project Managers, Delivery Managers, Test Manager, Team Leads, Developers, Business Analysts and Quality Assurance Engineers.
QA team itself is currently spread across 2 locations, which includes Wroclaw (4 people) and Pune (2).
