Description
As a response to our client’s need – we’re looking for an enthusiastic QA Test Engineer with a background in automated and manual testing, who will take part in developing e-commerce platform hand in hand with client’s team. The candidate should have minimum 2 years (Regular) or minimum 5 years (Senior) of commercial experience in software QA (especially automated Java testing). Technical skills
- Basic concepts of Core Java (syntax, functions, object-oriented programming etc.)
- Collections
- Streams
- Exception handling
- Interfaces, abstract class, etc.
- Experience with libraries: jaxb, mybatis, gson, restassured, assert
- Experience with test automation tools like Selenium Webdriver, JMeter
- Good understanding of HTML, JavaScript, CSS
- Good understanding of cucumber/gherkin syntax
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
- Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test cases
- Good knowledge of white box and black box testing
- Experience with SQL databases
- Good knowledge of defect and issue tracking applications, knowledge sharing software
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
Technical Skills - Nice to have
- Experience with REST API's test and standards
- Experience with unit and integration testing
- ISTQB Foundation certificate
General Skills
- Creativity to come up with new technical solutions
- Analytical skills to identify root cause and cause/effect relations
