Qualified Building Surveyor / Building Project Manager

Job description

• Graduate Degree level of equivalent in: Civil Engineering, Architecture, and Construction Engineering,Building Surveying registered with Association of Polish Architects or Engineers.
• Ability to understand and measure a building using measuring equipment and picking all elements e.g. columns, drainage point, etc.
• Create a DWG drawing (includingCeiling Heights, Under Beams Heights, Critical Dimensions) using AutoCAD
• Fluent Construction based Polishand English essential with other foreign languages preferable
• Having access to car and validdriver's licence (category B) are essential as a large portion of the working week will be travelling between sites, surveying and viewing multiple sitesthroughout Europe.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant postqualification experience

Requirements

• The ideal Candidate would possess a good understanding of space planning, construction detailing Office Layouts, AutoCAD, Building regulations, such as floor structures and means of escape strategies etc.
• The candidate may require to build and manage a team of surveyers through Europe, the refore key responsibilities include being an effective line manager and account manager
• The role will report to either a UK based partner or a senior manager
• The role will be responsible for all deliverables on account projects on the account including KPI's (Key PerformanceIndicator)
• The role will include a fast track roll out programme of hundreds of offices, retail and commercial refurbishments throughout Europe.
• AutoCAD and Google SketchUp, or other3d design tools on intermediate level.
• Project management skills and techniques required and the ability to manage and delegate largevolumes of work to internal teams.
• Ideal candidate needs to have ability to be high performing, work under pressure and self-motivatedwith very good people skills and be excellent communication skills.
• Knowledge of local building contractors, their progress protocols
