Working in an Agile software development environment, the QA Developer will follow the automation strategy and work with the in-house framework that will enhance QA and release management. You will collaborate closely with the product team, external development and UX design partners.

Working in an Agile software development environment, the QA Developer will follow the automation strategy and work with the in-house framework that will enhance QA and release management. You will collaborate closely with the product team, external development and UX design partners.
Job duties:
- Develop an automation framework across all platforms supporting a range of test cases throughout the core application
- Identify software related issues and provide clear instructions to help resolve them
- Integration of the automation systems with the in-house build process to build a robust continuous integration system
- Advocate automation testing best practices, driving and improving the QA team in all areas
- Build tools that are sufficient to test all functional and non-functional requirements
- Ensuring release has met all security, performance and platform scalability requirements
- Taking responsibility for the quality of the code that affects your product including both reactive and proactive responses, for example broken builds, refactoring and logging of technical debt
- Devising test cases to ensure the best possible user experience across all platforms

- Commercial experience as QA or Developer
- Experience of writing tests using Selenium, Java or similar, using BDD tools inc. Cucumber and scripting languages such as Python is desirable
- Understanding of issues surrounding video playback across platforms
- Understanding of BDD, exploratory testing, compliance testing, and test planning
- Intermediate English
Beneficial:
- Good experience working on live applications with a continuous feature & content release cycle
- Experience working on mobile, TV platforms and games consoles as an automation specialist in an agile environment
- Knowledge of Jenkins and CI systems
- Experience of Jira and Test Rail or similar
- Experience in performing performance tests with one of the tools - jMeter, Loader.io, Gatling, BlazeMeter
- Experience in performing security tests
