Due to the enforcement of the company's position in Poland and strong willing of improvement in operations area, we are looking for the most suitable candidate to fulfill the position of Quality Assurance Distribution Manager.
Job description
Reporting directly to Head of Quality Unit, this high profile role will enable you to take a pro-active approach in respecting and implementing the quality assurance procedures for distribution, as well as, to facilitate sales and product development, acting as an quality assurance expert.
You will be directly responsible for the group of Wholesale Warehouse Managers (Pharmacists) and for controlling, co-designing and maintaining few warehouses and distribution systems to achieve the business objective of improving efficiencies in the global distribution of finished products (medicinal products, dietary supplements and medical devices).
You will internationally challenge and locally improve current GDP (Good Distribution Practice) and refer to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice).
Your responsibilities will also include:
- Monitoring and analyzing distribution (and in some cases also production) processes and documents (pharmaceutical law) in order to assess risks related to current warehouse and distribution operations, identifying opportunities for improvement and proposing solutions;
- Support regulatory compliance for external agencies (governmental, pharmaceutical institutions) which relate to storage and distribution of medicinal products and support quality assurance synergy between production sites and DCs.
- Leading process for failure investigation and resolution of complaints and rejects relative to distribution
- Providing guidance on release methods, reviews/approves changes for regulated processes.
- Preparing quality agreements related to products being distributed.
The role offers an excellent opportunity to communicate with and influence main actors across the Group.
Who we are looking for
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Quality Management and Distribution, as well as, an important knowledge of GDP/GMP regulations.
Additionally they must be able to demonstrate:
- At least 3 years of current or previous experience in one of following departments: Quality Assurance; Quality Control; Product Validation; Production, Warehousing gained within the Pharmaceuticals Industry (Production and/or Wholesalers) OR/AND Pharmaceutical/Medical devices/Dietary Supplements Distributors
- High degree of education preferably in pharmacy, chemistry, biology, microbiology or related OR/AND a track record of training and development within Quality Assurance.
- The ability to work autonomously and self motivation
- Excellent communication skills both in Polish and English.
- Ability to be flexible in a fast changing environment
