Quality Assurance Engineer

Responsibilites
- Preparation SBE (specification by example) for user stories (putting that into stories description), Tests execution
- Clarification with the business side details of user stories
- Deploying to QA/UAT
- Release preparation
- Taking responsibility and care for all stories between peer review and release stages.
Requirements
- Working experience with automation testing
- Basic knowledge of Java programming language
- TeamCity, Git,
- JIRA, Agile, Scrum
- TDD
- Open minded
- Eager to learn
- Open to new technologies
- Good communication skills and English language
We offer
The candidate will be responsible for two projects.
The first one is a backend application which main responsibility is providing valuation results for structured product models. The seccond is a system which takes care of order handling which is one of the links of trading process chain.
The team develop and support few other projects as well.
Team details:
- Global system - clients in US, EU, UK and APAC
- 6 team members
- Close collaboration with APAC scrum team - 6 team members
- Product Owner in APAC
- Flexible working hours (daily stand up @ 9:30, sometimes groom @ 9:00) , possible work from home (1-2 days per two weeks)
Technologies and Project shortlist:
- Main language: Java 8
- Other languages: Groovy, Scala, Bash
- Build system: Gradle, Maven
- Continuous Integration: TeamCity, Git, GitHub, Nexus
- Others: Oracle Database, JMS (Tibco EMS), Kafka, Spring 4.x, Spring Boot 1.4.x
- Process: Scrum, JIRA (Agile Board + Backlog), Peer Reviews, Pairing, Team Discussions
- IDE: IntelliJ
- Programming: Test Oriented (ATDD, TDD, BDD - depending on developer preference as longs as it's tested!)
