For one of our Clients-international company from the FMCG industry (location: Wrocław), we are looking for experienced Candidates for the position: Quality Manager.
Candidate employed on this position would assure proper compliance of product quality with the internal requirements of company and external regulations and development of quality assurance systems to ensure efficient operation. Future Quality Manager would be working without a direct and daily supervision and implements the strategies defined by the senior management to ensure compliance with legal and corporate requirements / standards. Future QM would be responsible for the evaluation and prioritization for implementation of strategy, developing and implementing quality systems and identifying areas for improvements. Candidate employed on this position would supervises and coordinates the work of the team of Quality Analysts and Inspectors, working closely with practically all functions of the company, as well as with external institutions.
Future Quality Manager would be responsible for continuous improvement of quality systems, quality components, the finished product, build quality awareness among employees, including the cost of quality. Candidate employed on this position would be responsible for Team Development of Quality Analysts and Inspectors; building a correct image of the Company in the area of quality; contacting and cooperating with external control institutions to the extent required by law and standards of quality; cooperating with HR Department on all training initiatives in quality department in particular applying common company training standards and implementing annual training schedule of the company; observing and implementing health and safety rules and environmental protection rules in quality department; developing of the annual budget of the department and expenditures to improve the quality and monitoring of expenditures.
The perfect Candidate should has minimum 5 years of professional experience (ideally in FMCG sector, cosmetics, household chemistry, etc),experience in leading team, strong technical and management skills and analytical abilities in problem solving. Future Quality Manager should demonstrates leadership skills and ability to perform under pressure and in ambiguous situations. To be successful in this role Candidate should has strong organization and multi-tasking skills – ability to balance and prioritize several projects simultaneously. Ability to act in several roles depending upon the situation - facilitator, leader, executor, etc. is necessary. Higher education directional (preferably chemical), driving license (B Category) and proficiency in MS Office, MS Project are a must.
The person in this position must be independent and objective, and focused on the highest quality, have the courage to challenge the status quo, to be able to clearly communicate issues of quality, assertively take and communicate decisions. The necessary skills are good organizer, project and team management skills. This person must have well-developed communication skills (including fluent English understanding and speaking). In addition, this person must act professionally, to obtain high-quality results, and act according to the highest ethical standards within the company and externally.
