- Design and development of industrial products;
- Cooperation with automation and electrical engineering experts to create concepts and prototypes of new IT systems for ABB.
- Master degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Automation or similar;
- High skills in designing and implementing complex embedded systems (e.g. embedded Linux);
- Experience with RTOSs;
- Ability to conduct all phases of a software project unassisted (concept, requirements collection, planning, design, implementation, testing, documentation);
- Programing skills (C and C++, scripting languages);
- Knowledge of modern software technologies, tools and software engineering methodologies (e.g. design patterns);
- Team player able to work in a multi national environment;
- Fluent English.
- Practical ability to share knowledge and cooperation (publications, patents, presentations, conferences/seminars, participation in open source projects, etc.);
- Knowledge of communication technologies used in industries (e.g. communication protocols, particularly IEC 61850);
- Familiarity with aspects of electrical engineering or automation.
