Responsibilites
Working as part of the global Business Analysis team for IT Operations Management Product Management this role will be responsible for delivery of:
- Stakeholder analysis and requirements engineering.
- Elicitation, analysis, documentation, supporting the prioritization and communicating requirements, describing processes & use cases and proposing improvements, ensuring a common understanding between Business/Stakeholders and IT/Project.
- Collaboration with other BA's, Product Managers, Project Managers, TDA's, Architecture and Engineering within Service Management Technologies domain to ensure high quality deliverables.
- Contributing to a reduction of implementation risks by delivering high quality requirement specifications.
- Actively supporting the complete lifecycle of requirements.
Requirements
Required Skills:
- Graduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent; alternatively a similar education in the IT space.
- Proven track record of 2-3 years' experience in the role as Business Analyst, preferably in the banking/finance industry.
- Strong analytical skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into Requirements and Functional Specifications.
- Evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.
- Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Strong customer management and influencing skills.
- Work independently with users to define concepts and under direction of project managers
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English) and the ability to (proactively) interact with a diverse group of stakeholders, managers, and subject matter experts.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to establish the design and strategy and analyze tradeoffs between key requirements.
- Detailed understanding of Event and Capacity Management.
- Detailed understanding of Availability- and Performance Monitoring.
