We are looking for developers who can perform support and small enhancements to an in-house built global energy trading platform. The platform is hosted on Amazon Web Services and a developer would need to have working knowledge of AWS as well as the key platform technologies: HTML5, AngularJS, Java, Spring, Hibernate, MySQL and Docker. The ideal person would be able to troubleshoot support requests as well as perform minor fixes and enhancements, working in conjunction with other support teams around the world.
As a developer at consultant level you will be an enthusiastic and disciplined technologist, with experience across multiple projects, able to take on a variety of development roles in fast paced financial markets projects. You should be someone who keeps abreast of the key technology trends in your field and keen to contribute to the community of technologists across the company. In particular, you must be delivery focused, adaptable, pragmatic yet thorough and able to analyze requirements.
