Implementation of new functionalities
Closely cooperation with business, technical advisory and project requirements collections
Architecture and system design
Cooperation with Project Manager on time and project estimation
Monitoring and supervising quality of deliverables
Analyzing application defects and bug fixing
MANDATORY:
- 2+ years of experience in Java SE/Java EE/Spring
- Experience (JAX-WS/Spring/EJB/JMS/JPA)
- Professional, highly analytical approach with good problem solving skills
- Experience with multiple RDBMS systems (preferably Oracle) from back end developer perspective
- Proven OOP and testing skills (mocking/unit testing, preferable TDD)
- Experience with application servers (Weblogic/Webshpere), MQ, distributed data grid solutions
- Understanding of agile development processes
- Good English
NICE TO HAVE:
- Experience with Banking, Insurance or Telecom industry
- Ability to read UML diagrams, using Rational Software Modeler
- Prior experience of working with Agile/Scrum
- Experience with C#/.Net/WCF/WPF/
- A degree in Computer Science/Engineering/or a scientific or numerical discipline
Project is already running on production for a few years.
There will be a huge field for initiatives, which will help set the project running as smoothly as possible.
The team will start with working on already existing problems. After a while some new functionality to implement will come. In the project you will have a chance to closely cooperate with Zurich stakeholders and traders. Application is a huge banking system with complex architecture and working in it can be considered a first step to the System Architect role.
