The Software Engineer will:
- Develop solutions as specified by the Solutions Engineer and Business Analysts (Specification document) to answer customer requirements.
- Provide development assistance services (including training) to Regional Delivery Centers and customers willing to develop using Amadeus Apis and tools.
- Provide development expertise to build solutions with the Regional product portfolio, integrated with the customer systems, operating environment and business practices.
- Provide consulting services to review and assess the feasibility of a specific customized development.
- Maintain the customized developments once delivered to the customer.
- Follow Professional Services procedure allowing the solution to be reused and maintained. If needed participate to onsite missions and working together with customers IT department to secure the solution delivery in the best efficient way.
Professional Skills:
- At least 2-3 years of experience in a position of software developer
- Good understanding and experience in C#, .NET, SQL Server technology
- OOP- good understanding of the concept
- Proficient in server-side development, client-side proficiency is a plus
- knowledge and experience of web-based enterprise applications architectures, including design patterns, ORMs, N-tier architectures, etc. The code should be capable of handling complexity
- Proficient with Web Services and XML technologies
- Knowledge of web standards is a plus
- Software Development: Capacity to design, create, test and document the code
Soft Skills:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Good Analytical skills
- English - Advance:
o Listening: Can understand extended speech and lectures and follow even complex lines of argument provided the topic is reasonably familiar.
o Reading: Can understand the main ideas of complex text on both concrete and abstract topics, including technical discussions in his/her field of specialization.
