Responsibilites
- Develop Oracle and Sybase client packages for Unix and Windows operating systems
- Develop PL/SQL Developer, Aqua Data Studio and other DB-tools packages for Windows operating systems
- Develop support documentation for DB-clients
- Execute manual and automated tests for DB-clients and DB-tools for Unix and Windows operating systems.
- Second and First level support for DB-clients and DB-tools for Unix and Windows systems.
Requirements
- Understanding of database client server model
- Understanding of Oracle and Sybase connectivity concepts
- Knowledge of Unix operating system
- Good knowledge of Windows operating system, include Windows Server.
- Ability to read, understand and modify existing scripts in shell, VB and other languages
- Good communication level in English (writing/speaking)
We offer
DBA stream is being organized in the existing Infrastructure Services Team to provide Database Services. Dealing with Oracle-related activities, the team is extended to cover MS SQL & Sybase services. Team is responsible for the set of activities to be handed over from the customer.
Among them are:
- prebuild and deploy binary packages to DEV, UAT environments
- develop and maintain a number of toolkits developed for usage by Service Delivery Team
- participate in provisioning Database Services (automation of install, upgrade, backup and decommission activities)
- investigate and propose new technical solutions to be used in the customer environment
