Responsibilites
Be responsible for the quality of delivered functionality:
- keep track of regression testing (Bamboo plans)
- prepare the acceptance tests before the development starts (ATDD methodology)
- communicate with BA team (located in Krakow) and prepare the End-to-end tests
Be responsible for the UAT testing support:
- communicate with test-managers on the required test-data and timelines
- identify the root cause of the reported bug and prepare Fitnesse test to replicate it
- help developers to understand the issue
Requirements
Must have:
- Strong practical knowledge in software testing and test-case design (at least 3 years)
- Practical experience with databases: SQL, PL/SQL
- Strong analytical thinking: analyze requirements and find high-risk areas, ability to choose '20% of tests which cover 80% of functionality', review tests written by other QA-s
- Proactivity: willing to learn, take responsibility and seek ways of constant improvement
- Easily adapting to changing environment and challenging tasks
- Upper intermediate English to communicate in distributed team
Nice to have:
- Practical experience with viewing logs on Unix-based systems
- Financial experience (preferably Investment Banking)
