The candidate will be working on a few exciting java applications with exposure to most current knowledge.
Provide applications in best quality as requested by specifications, utilizing state-of-the-art Continuous Integration practices.

- Strong Core Java - minimum 3 years experience; Java 8;
- Spring batch and framework.
- Java Script, Angular JS (+- 2 years)
- TDD based development with re-engineering of existing application to incorporate unit tests and functional tests; practical experience with comprehensive XP implementation.
- BDD tools integration (Jbehave or other related tools).
- Self documented code development methodologies.
- Unix/python/perl scripting.
- Knowledge of any batch scheduler (Autosys, Control+M etc).
- Ability to work and coordinate with members offshore.
- Good database skills to define queries and stored procedures (Oracle); understanding of DB design principles and concepts, understanding of ORM.
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written). Good English command.
- Investment bank experience (basic knowledge so that the candidate can understand the requirements); experience of rendering consulting services.
- Aggressive and ability to work on high pressure env (target oriented approach).
- Ability to support multiple applications when escalated for development team investigation. Excellent business problem solving skills.

This role is for an experienced developer who will be developing Risk Management software. The Risk Management IT team is a part of Financing IT in the overall Investment Bank IT delivery organization. The team develops risk management software which is used by the risk management groups. This is a highly motivated team with a high concentration of subject matter expertise both technically and financially.
