Purpose of the role
Manage the provision of robust and meaningful analytical output and value driver measurements that inform business direction and good decision making in strategic group and operating company programmes and investments
Provide specialist analytics expertise to Central Services FBP to provide robust, high quality MI that helps the function to monitor and track performance and manage risks and opportunities
Drive continuous improvement of analytics and business insights ensuring SLAs are met, governance is in place and the quality of service is assured
Accountabilities:
• Manage the relationship with Central Services Finance Business Partners, ensuring that requirements for analytics support for strategic projects are clearly understood, expectations are managed and SLA’s are met within the overall GBS service delivery framework
• Maintain oversight of analysis or performance across Central Service functions, actively seeking out areas and opportunities where analytics support will enhance risk and opportunity management and cost reductions. Encourage a continuous improvement focus in the team
• Manage the provision of business insight analysis to Central Services FBP to create high quality MI and business cases, including complex IT and Property scenarios
• Support the FBP to review and analyse supplier contracts, such as property lease agreements and IT licence agreements
• Constructively challenge analytics processes and methodologies, recommending changes that enhance and constantly improve the quality of output
• Develop an enhanced approach to finance performance reviews with FBP’s, ensuring commentary is relevant and accurate with risks and opportunities identified and solutions offered
• Work with Central services FBPs planning teams to deliver consolidated analysis of performance or scenario modelling in support of planning, budgeting and forecasting for the business
• Develop appropriate network and make use of ways to maintain industry awareness and through understanding of Central Services strategies
• Manage the team, focusing on development to build high performance

Required Skills, Qualifications & Experience
Qualifications:
• Full professional finance qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent), MBA considered
Skills:
• Excellent people manager with ability to inspire, lead, build and deliver through high performance teams
• Ability to influence, align diverse views and gain consensus, providing clarity and direction on what is to be achieved and break down barriers that get in way of effective team working.
• Excellent sponsorship and stakeholder management skills across a diverse geographic region and at multiple levels, with the gravitas to engage with and influence senior stakeholders
• Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, analytical and strategic problem solving skills
• Business and finance acumen
• Ability to prioritise, maintain clear focus and provide direction in constant ambiguity and change
• A strong customer focus, committed to exceeding customer expectations and continuous improvement
• Ability to manage people and projects in a fast-paced global environment with tight deadlines, finite resources and conflicting priorities
• Excellent English language skills
• Working knowledge of Spanish is an asset
Experience:
• 3-5 years post-qualification relevant experience in a centralised Management Information environment in an international company
• Project accounting experience on large scale multi-disciplinary and multinational projects
• Experience working in an environment of change involving people, process, policy and technology.
• Experience managing strategic finance transformation projects in a fast-paced, complex global organisation with finite resources
• Experience managing teams in a global, matrix environment
