Responsibilites
Configuration Manager responsibilities include:
- Order, configure, deploy and maintain Application hosting environments at vendor premises (manually with basic automated parts).
- Order, configure and maintain Oracle hosting environments.
- Upgrading/maintaining components (JAVA, SNAP, Tomcats, Solar, WebSSO, STP)
- Configure, maintain and troubleshoot builds for application components in DAP, logs, SolAdmin, JConsole, DB Solace, Solr Indexing) .
- Communicate to vendor/DB infrastructure teams ( TradeGate, Algomi, DAP/PAAS, Solace, dWeb, Database, Source Code Repository)
- Install, configure and maintain local application/database hosting environments.
- Request additional network connectivity to vendor locations.
- Request additional access to vendor resources for development team.
- CR, Incident rising, proceeding with all workflow (communication with all required teams, infrastructures and receiving all sign-offs, reache agreements)
- PROD support ( quick reaction/response/solving issues, support of PALM prod support users, participating in all activities, rising all incedences, etc.)
Requirements
- UNIX/Linux/Windows administration experience.
- Network base knowledge, understanding of protocol difference. Firewall configuration experience is an advantage.
- Weblogic application servers configuration/deployment.
- Apache HTTP server configuration.
- UNIX scripting languages/perl experience.
- Ant/Maven usage experience.
- Jenkins/TeamCity knowledge.
- Subversion(SVN/GIT) usage knowledge.
- Knowledge and understanding of SQL. Oracle administration experience is an advantage.
- Good written and spoken English and strong communication skills.
