Release Manager is a technical specialist owning activities on planning infrastructure and capacity planning, environment accessibility and code release issues resolution.
This person serves as a liaison between differents business units to promote smooth and timely delivery.
He helps to identify, create and implement processes to efficiently manage the release of code.
This role will also manage infrastructure assets, plan and co-ordinate releases, including disaster recovery and communicate a lot.
- 4+ years of experience in IT;
- Strong experience with Unix operating system and tools;
- Very good communication skills.
- Proficient spoken and written English is a must;
- Good understanding of technologies used for data center/infrastructure space including: SAN management, LAN and WAN, database management, middleware technologies;
- Understanding of Change Management and Release Management processes;
- Previous experience with any SQL relational databases;
- Ability to support several concurring working streams/tasks and efficiently work under time pressure;
- Strong analytical skills;
- Ability to work independently and efficiently reach targets in cooperation with distributed multinational team;
- Very proactive and "Getting things done" attitude and problem solving skills;
Desirable skills:
- Experience of work in a distributed team;
- High level of ownership;
- Agile practice, experience in Continuous Integratio;
- Investment banking background.
Our system is a single point of sourcing all reference data required to support FXMM business of the bank.
Our mission is to supply timely and reliably enriched reference data (counterparties, trading accounts, settlement instruction etc.) taken from multiple golden sources to 100+ downstream applications to support the complete FXMM trading flow.
The project is aligned with Scrum methodology in distributed teams.
