Responsibilites
Release Manager is a technical specialist owning activities on planning infrastructure and capacity planning, environment accessibility and code release issues resolution.
Main responsibilities:
- Serving as a liaison between different business units to promote smooth and timely delivery;
- Helping to identify, create and implement processes to efficiently manage the release of code;
- Managing infrastructure assets, planning and co-ordinating releases, including disaster recovery and communicate a lot;
- Development and further improvement of test automation framework.
Requirements
Skills Required:
- 6+ years of experience in IT industry;
- Strong experience with Unix operating system and tools;
- Very good communication skills.
- Proficient spoken and written English is a must;
- Good understanding of technologies used for data center/infrastructure space including: SAN management, LAN and WAN, database management, middleware technologies;
- Understanding of Change Management and Release Management processes;
- Previous experience with any SQL relational databases;
- Ability to support several concurring working streams/tasks and efficiently work under time pressure;
- Strong analytical skills;
- Ability to work independently and efficiently reach targets in cooperation with distributed multinational team;
- Very proactive and "Getting things done" attitude and problem solving skills.
Desirable skills:
- Experience of work in a distributed team;
- High level of ownership;
- Agile practice, experience in Continuous Integratio;
- Investment banking background.
