- Supporting Strategists within FI,FX Strategy and Economics team for one of our clients
- Assisting client in preparation of daily, weekly, monthly reports and other regular deliverables
- Preparing FX, FI, macro data analysis as per client requirements
- Building models from scratch as per client requirements and ensuring existing models are updated and recalculated with latest market data
- Masters in Economics / Econometrics / Statistics
- Strong grasp of macroeconomic concepts. Ability to interpret current events from a macroeconomic perspective. Ability to understand the relationship of various macroeconomic variables and their impact
- Understanding of statistical concepts/ time series modeling
- Advanced Excel skills
- Good communication skills, ability to work under time pressure
- Knowledge of Bloomberg, Matlab, Eviews
- VBA would be an advantage
