In relation to a dynamic growth of our Client, which is the worlds second largest hearing aid manufacturer, and new competencies development requiring strengthening of the organization structure we are looking for an experienced Manager with strong engineering background to take over the position of a Technical Director with responsibility for effective functioning of Technical Department, Tool shop, Injection Molding Production and Business Development Office.

Are you ready to make JYSK the most successful non food retail chain and attractive workplace in the retail sector, and do you possess the ability and necessary energy?


As Retail Manager you will be a crucial part of JYSK Country Manager Team reporting to the Retail Operational Manager.The Country Manager Team consists of Country Manager, Retail Operational Manager, Finance Manger, Human Resource Manager and 4 Retail Managers (including the new position). You will be responsible for the team of 4 District Managers and 1 Store Supporter, managing 35-40 stores. You have a 100% focus on the establishment and implementation of JYSK Poland's strategy and business plan and serve as a competent sparring partner for the management team and district managers on issues connected with management and organization.


Of responsibilities can be mentioned:

  • Increase turnover and Ebit
  • Support growth in number of stores in own region
  • Operations – planning, budgeting and follow-up
  • Staff management & training
  • Organization and Communication
  • Store establishment / expansion
  • Implementation of JYSK concepts

As a leader you need to ensure:

  • Optimal management in all stores and districts in the region
  • Dedicated employees at all levels in all stores and districts in the region
  • Pipeline which includes qualified staff for own manager positions
  • Recruitment of the most competent managers
  • Relevant and appropriate training and development of own organization
  • Incorporation of JYSK values, JYSK Leadership and JYSK Customer Promises in the region

 

You have a relevant education in leadership or business administration. Most importantly, however, is your solid experience in non food retail management preferably from an international company. You need to have an extensive experience with store operations.  You are an energetic and structured practitioner who manage to identify, prioritize and address development areas, and always follow the task until it is 100% solved. You are a shining example of JYSK Values and JYSK Leadership, and you have a natural authority and persuasive communication skills. You need to be able to combine high result focus and business acumen with empathy and people focus.  Furthermore keeping the overview under pressure is also an important skill.
