We are searching for passionate, enthusiastic, professional Compliance and Risk Officer to oversee the process of identification, evaluation and management of risk exposures arising in all business segments within the country.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- To work with all business segments providing compliance support and advice
- Ensure appropriate compliance frameworks, policies and procedures are embedded
- Facilitate the business in identifying any compliance risks
- Developing a risk-based compliance programme, to ensure that compliance projects, monitoring activities and relevant stakeholders focus on key risks and controls
- Collaborating across different business functions to provide for an integrated and coordinated approach to risk assessment and controls
- Develop and communicate risk management processes across the organisation and provide appropriate training and advice to managers
- Leading in the development and execution of a compliance monitoring plan and lead the full lifecycle (planning, monitoring activities, reporting and follow up) for all business functions
- Embed compliance culture and risk-awareness throughout the group
- Through regular and appropriate business involvement ensure all compliance work is carried out to the required level of competence
- Master's degree or equivalent in law, finance or economics
- A successful track record as a risk officer and good knowledge of the operational and regulatory complexities impacting the business from strategic, operational and change perspectives
- Minimum 3 years of Compliance and Risk experience
- Strong Interpersonal (including verbal & written) skills including presentations, procedures and report writing
- Excellent Analytical and Problem-solving skills, ability to think “outside the box” in a logical manner
- Capable of setting priorities and working under pressure
- Hands on experience of risk assurance and control frameworks
- Experience in leading/delivering risk assessments and scenario analysis
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office
- Driving licence (category B)
