Ruby on Rails Developer – Working Student [rekrutacja online]

You will be responsible for software design, implementation, analyzing and solving complex engineering problems and hitches in web development area. As a team, we create products developed in many technologies like Ruby, Python, JavaScript that support work within Nokia MN Radio Frequency development unit..

• Ruby and Ruby on Rails;
• JavaScript (jQuery, ReactJS), HTML5, CSS3;
• Python, Django;
• Linux;
• Testing frameworks;
• Atlassian JIRA, Confluence;
• Git version control system.

• preferably student of Computer Science, Telecommunications or similar;
• good knowledge of Ruby;
• good knowledge of Ruby on Rails framework;
• good knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3;
• basic experience with Linux (shell, shell scripting);
• basic experience with Git, GitLab or GitHub;
• good communication in English (both written and spoken);
• strong analytical skills.

• knowledge of Agile Software Development Methodologies (SCRUM, TDD, CI) Ruby Test frameworks (RSpec, Minitest, Capybara)
• ReactJS or other JavaScript-based frameworks
• databases (at least one): PostgreSQL, MySQL (or other);
• cloud technologies and frameworks (Docker, Kubernetes).
