Sales Data Desk Associate will be responsible for customer account data management. They will be accountable for maintaining up-to-date account information and ensuring data quality. They will assist in resolving account data disputes, territorial assignments and mirroring real-life companies’ mergers, acquisitions and divestitures within the system.
- Research and update account information leveraging external source or applications such as Hoovers, Data.com and reputable journalistic sources
- Collect appropriate approvals and merge account information to avoid duplicates
- Review submissions/ manage requests and exception requests to create/ dissolve a company, change account ownership, flag private equity accounts
- Conducting data governance to properly reflect companies’ subsidiaries, acquisitions, divestitures and mergers
- Maintain accurate data to ensure consistency for forecasting and proper assignment to account executives
- Research and validate data dispute via Hoover and other sources
- Work on ad-hoc data quality projects with customer’s data quality leads
- Be able to work autonomously as well as in a team
- Min. Bachelor degree
- Fluent English
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proven analytical and problem solving skills
- Demonstrated passion for ensuring commitment to quality
- Attention to detail and the ability to effectively multi-task in a deadline driven atmosphere
